Big Cash Awaits, As Dixieland Prepares to Host Legend Cars
The lightning fast miniature coupes of the U.S. Legend Cars International and INEX series are preparing for their inaugural visit to Dixieland Speedway-HVLLC this Friday night, May 23rd. It will be a National points race for drivers that are vying for a title bid and is also the first of six stops here at the 3/8ths mile clay oval this season for the ultra fast machines.
It will be the first big event on the East Coast for the Legend Cars in 2025 as they chase a $1000 to win payday! With championship points on the line coupled with a large payout, fans can expect to see cars from 4 or 5 different states.
The track immediately had both individuals and companies coming on board to help raise the purse to a record level as the anticipation for this event that has grown beyond promoter, Sean Hankinson’s imagination. “We just wanted to raise the bar a little bit and offer them a little extra, but our fans, staff and marketing partners have just taken it to another level, it’s been overwhelming!” Hankinson is also excited to see the legends perform at Dixieland; “I think it’s going to be a great show, this place is built for these cars and I think the drivers will enjoy the challenge.”
