Hard Decision made at Dixieland Speedway
After much debate and discussion, a decision concerning the future of the Super 4 class at Dixieland has been made.
Hankinson Ventures, LLC talked to several teams and drivers about the class, thus, seeing and hearing from all sides and all points of views. We heard about drivers saying they could not race on Fridays due to work, we heard about cars being built and then we heard the number one problem and that is the rules. Our group (Hankinson Ventures) asked several drivers before the season began, what rules package do you want, and it turned into a back and forth with nothing being accomplished. It was a fiasco.
While combining all of these factors and finding that there is no resolution to solve this issue, after the first green flag, we have decided to cancel all remaining Super 4 races for 2025 at Dixieland Speedway-HVLLC. This is not something we took lightly. We tried to resolve this issue internally but there just aren't enough cars in our area to make this a feasible option for us as a business entity. Moody’s Water Conditioning LLC Sport Compacts are now on the schedule at every race. The website has been updated to reflect the changes.
Hopefully the Super 4 class can come to terms across the board in the future and get everyone on the same page instead of being separated by regional rules that help some and hurt others.
